Connected plants. Predictable output.

Manufacturing IT services.
From shop floor to top floor.

Production data is generated every second and used almost never. Surfytech connects machines, MES, ERP and analytics so orders, stock, quality and downtime are visible in time to act on them.

  • Plant-floor integration
  • Production visibility
  • ERP & WMS connected
Why plant systems disappoint

The data exists.
It just arrives too late.

Machines log cycles, the ERP holds orders and the warehouse knows the stock — but nobody sees all three at once. Downtime, rework and shortages are discovered after they cost money.

We connect the systems that already exist, add the missing workflows, and surface the few metrics that tell you whether today is going to plan.

Automate the right thing first. Digitizing a broken process just makes the waste faster. We map the current flow and challenge steps before configuring or building anything.
  • 01
    See downtime as it happens

Machine and order signals combined so stoppages get attention immediately.

  • 02
    One version of stock

Warehouse, ERP and shop-floor counts reconciled with clear ownership.

  • 03
    Traceability you can defend

Batch, operator and material history available when a customer or auditor asks.

  • 04
    Fewer manual handovers

Paper travellers, spreadsheets and email approvals replaced with structured steps.

Our manufacturing process

Walk the floor first.
Then build the system.

Discovery → Requirements → Design → Build & integrate → Validation → Launch & support. Each phase ends with something operators and managers can review.

  1. Discovery

Walk the process with production, quality, warehouse and finance. Agree the bottleneck to solve.

    Output: flow map & priorities
  2. Requirements

Define data capture, interfaces, uptime expectations and the metrics that matter.

    Output: requirements & metrics
  3. Design

Model orders, routings, inventory and quality around how the plant actually runs.

    Output: reviewed prototype
  4. Build & integrate

Configure and develop in iterations, connecting machines, ERP and warehouse systems.

    Output: working increments
  5. Validation

Test with real production scenarios, including failure and offline conditions.

    Output: test results & sign-off
  6. Launch & support

Phased rollout with training, monitoring and agreed support coverage.

Output: live system & support plan
Platforms & tooling

Illustrative · Downtime

Stoppages noticed too late

Challenge: Line stoppages are logged on paper, so patterns only appear at the end of the month.

Approach: Machine and order signals combined into a live downtime view with cause codes.

Discuss visibility →
Illustrative · Traceability

A recall that takes days to scope

Challenge: Batch history sits across spreadsheets and paper travellers in different departments.

Approach: A structured traceability record linking material, batch, operator and shipment.

Discuss traceability →
Illustrative · Stock

Three versions of inventory

Challenge: Warehouse, ERP and shop-floor counts disagree, so safety stock keeps rising.

Approach: One governed inventory record with cycle counts, reconciliation and clear ownership.

What manufacturing IT services does Surfytech offer?

Surfytech provides manufacturing execution systems, ERP implementation and integration, IoT and machine data capture, production analytics, supply chain systems, portals and digital marketing for manufacturers.

Can you integrate with our existing machines and controllers?

Where equipment exposes data, we can usually collect it through gateways, OPC, MQTT, database links or file exports. We assess the equipment, connectivity and plant-floor resilience before promising anything.

Do we need a new ERP, or just better integration?

Often integration and workflow improvement is enough. Fit-gap analysis compares configuring your current system, integrating it better and replacing it, so the decision is based on cost, timing and risk.

How do you handle data capture on the shop floor?

Depending on the process we use barcode or RFID scanning, touch terminals, tablets, machine signals or operator entry, with offline tolerance so a network interruption does not stop production.

How long does a manufacturing project take?

Timing depends on scope, equipment access, integrations and validation. Discovery produces a phased plan with review points, usually starting with the bottleneck that hurts most.

Do you support the system after launch?

Yes. Support covers fixes, monitoring, enhancements and integration maintenance. Coverage, response expectations and cost are agreed before launch.

Tell us about the plant, the systems you run and the bottleneck that hurts most. We’ll propose a phased plan with a first release your team can feel.

No complete specification needed. A clear business goal is a great place to start.

What happens next?

  1. Share the systems, equipment and processes involved today.
  2. Discuss integration, data capture, uptime and support needs.
  3. Agree the first phase and the scope for a proposal.
