Cloud migration without
the big-bang gamble.
Surfytech moves workloads to AWS or Azure in phases, with a rollback point at each stage. You get a readiness assessment, a cost model, and a migration that keeps the business running.
- Phased, not big-bang
- Cost modelled up front
- Rollback at every step
Cloud migration fails on
sequencing, not technology.
Performance Optimization and Monitoring.
All Technologies Blog update in this section.
- 01Readiness assessment first
Workloads assessed for dependencies, data, licensing and compliance before anything moves.
- 02Phased with rollback
Each wave has a tested rollback point, so a failure costs a delay rather than an outage.
- 03Cost modelled up front
Projected monthly spend and the cost drivers documented before the first workload moves.
- 04Optimised after landing
Rightsizing, storage tiers and idle resources reviewed once the workload is in production.
Good questions.
Clear starting points.
What teams usually ask before starting a cloud migration services engagement.
Ask about your requirementsHow long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on the number of workloads and how tangled their dependencies are. After the assessment we give a wave-by-wave plan with realistic dates.
Should we move everything to the cloud?
Usually not. Workloads that are stable, cheap to run and not gaining from elasticity often stay where they are. We will tell you which ones and why.
How do you handle downtime?
Most migrations run with no user-visible downtime using replication and short cutover windows. Where downtime is unavoidable it is scheduled and agreed in advance.
Can you migrate from a data centre we manage ourselves?
Yes. We assess the estate, plan the sequencing and migrate workload by workload, including the dependencies between them.
Do you handle compliance requirements?
We design for the requirements that apply to your data. Any audit or certification is separately scoped - a technology choice alone does not confer compliance.
What happens after migration?
We hand over the infrastructure documentation and run a cost and performance review, then support under a maintenance scope if you want one.
Let’s plan the right
next step for you.
Have a project, a workflow to improve or a system that needs a fresh start? Tell us what you want to achieve and we will tell you honestly what it would take.
No complete specification needed. A clear business goal is a great place to start.
What happens next?
- Share your goals, users and current challenges.
- Discuss essential features, integrations and constraints.
- Agree a practical next step and the scope for a proposal.
